James Bond Radio: 007 News, Reviews & Interviews!

The Music of Bond is back with our Goldfinger soundtrack review. This week we talk about the history of the score, discuss favourite tunes and go through it track by track. Is it John Barry's all-time masterpiece? Does it live up to the hype? Is it the kind of score you can make scrambled eggs to? Find out on this week's Music of Bond.

As previously mentioned, due to the tremendous workload involved in running Q The Music (the world's greatest James Bond concert experience), we've had to say goodbye to our previous Music of Bond co-host, Warren Ringham. The band are out on tour throughout the UK this year, so be sure to grab your tickets before they sell out.

No JBR this week. We'll actually be taking a break through the rest of March due to a spot of travel and a couple of secret missions from MI6. To keep you going in the meantime we'll drop a little nugget of fun in your podcast feed every Friday until our return. We can't have you missing us too much, can we?

This week, join Tom at the piano as he learns how to play Live & Let Die, recorded back in the heady days of 2015, the weekend before SPECTRE was released.

See you in April when JBR returns with a kiss kiss bang bang!

The Music of Bond is back...with From Russia With Love!

Warren and John return for the second soundtrack review and the focus shifts mainly to Turkey for John Barry's first 007 instalment. Undoubtedly a fantastic score from the maestro, but where does it rank in the series? Is it no.1? Is Barry finding the right formula in this film? Is that a load of tosh? Tune in and make up your own mind!...

No JBR this week! Sadly, Chris still hasn't returned from his mission abroad. The last we heard he was climbing into an iceberg submarine with a buxom beauty somewhere off the coast of eastern Europe.

Instead, James Bond Radio makes the trip to Hong Kong to check out 2 locations from The Man With The Golden Gun: The Peninsula Hotel and what's left of The Bottoms Up Club.

We will release the next podcast as soon as Chris returns. ETA: Next week as usual.
